What conversion rate you apply for USD to Rs.
Our conversion rate is Rs 1 = USD 0.02350, or USD 1 = Rs. 42.50,
This is the landing rate we get after conversion from Credit Card
processing company. Though indicative market rates are always 2.5
% more between Rs 34 to Rs 35 per USD approximately.
What server software are you running?
We use RedHat 7.0 on our linux web servers and windows2000 on our
Windows web servers.
Can I access my domain address with or without the "www"?
Yes, you will be able to access the domain address with or without
the "www" in front of the domain name. Example: [http://www.your-name.com]
or [http://your-name.com] is acceptable, whichever you prefer.
Can I transfer existing domain name to your servers?
Yes, You can directly transfer your domains through http://domain.adsoftindia.com
and click the Domain Transfer link and follow the instructions.
Transfer will take ONE Week time along with a ONE YEAR FREE Renewal.

How long does it take before my domain name is active?
Once the InterNIC announces that your domain name has been registered
(or transferred, if applicable), it usually takes about 72-hours
before it is active. All Internet providers must update their records
(DNS tables) to reflect the new site's location.
When I order who will the domain be registered to?
We always register domain names to the person listed on the order
form.
How long does a domain name registration last for?
For a .com .net or .org it is for the period you choose 1-10 years.
Can I use my hosting account for commercial purposes ?
Yes, you can use your account for commercial purposes. The World
Wide Web has become the most efficient and cost-effective means
of making information available to the users of the Internet community
and we encourage our customers to utilise such an enormous medium.
What is the bandwidth allocation on your hosting accounts?
We offer unlimited bandwidth for each of the user accounts. Don't
worry about the traffic. Go ahead with your site promotion activities.
Are there any hidden costs for the domain name?
No! The price listed is the price that you will pay, all fees are

Which FTP software do you recommend?
We recommend Cute FTP, or WS_FTP. You can download either one of
these from http://www.download.com/

Do your hosting accounts support SSI?
Yes this is turned on by default.
Do you provide any cgi-scripts with your hosting packages?
Not at the moment but we do plan on adding some in the future.
Do you support ASP?
Yes, our windows 2000 server supports ASP scripts. file extension
of ASP script should be ".asp".
Do you support PHP?
Yes, our servers supports PHP scripts. File extension of PHP scripts
should be ".php".
Do you support FrontPage 2000 server extensions?
Yes, This is available free for all Linux hosting accounts.
Where is Perl located on the server?
Perl can be found at /usr/bin/perl (linux)
What is the Perl extension?
All perl files should have extension ".pl"
Where is Sendmail located?
Sendmail can be found at /usr/lib/sendmail (linux)
